I did the license transfer on Xbox with my friend to get the Season pass for Gears of War 3. After I got the Season pass I also wanted to download Borderlands which my friend purchased. I haven't tried this yet, but I want to know if I recover his account and download the game on my Xbox will I be able to play it while connected to Xbox live?

P.S. I honestly have no idea where this was supposed to go so I am sorry if this is the incorrect place for it =)

You can only license transfer once every...100 days? Or 9 months, not positive.

So you have to wait at least half a year before doing it again (license transfer rules).

Look it up if you don't believe me, but don't hold me against the dates.

So after I downloaded the Season pass everything resets? I thought you had access to everything that profile has because say you had a broken xbox and you got a new one, you would only be able to download one dlc item that you had on your broken xbox?

if your console is still the licence holder for his stuff it should work
but using this method for free games/dlc can get you perma banned so be careful and dont be shocked when ur banned till the year 9999

if your friend has your licence and you get banned you can kiss all of your content goodbye, only downside
