solar storms happen on a daily basis. A heightened strength solar storm would not do too much. It would make the northern lights (or aurora borealis) show further south than usual, and it would interrupt a few satellite communications but would do nothing really severe. The most powerful one ever recorded was not long ago, and all did was just black out a little town for a day or so, nothing severe.

solar storms give out electromagnetic impulses. now if a major solar storm were to happen it might slip through our atmosphere. or if it happens while the polar shift is taking place then there will be a global blackout, it would have to be a pretty big solar storm though

Revenue wrote i was reading this and it said it would hit tuesday(today) and nothing has happend yet. what do you guys think will happen apart from our communications and GPS being interupted?

Pretty frightened for the simple fact that there could be a global blackout because of pole shifting during an unfortunate and coinscidential same time period as the solar storm thats taking place.

NASA said there won't be a Solar Storm..

Oh btw it already hit which is why the Auroras could be seen further south.
