Romeo and Juliet essay plan
The essay shows how different Romeo and Juliet are to the rest of there family, gang, setting and world.
Tybalt is represented as although he is in a western film. It makes him out to be dangerous and not bothered about his surroundings. He has metal spurs which ting when he walks. Western music in the background gives him more of a western theme. Which trys to make him seem more dangerous.
Romeo at the ball, it makes him seem although he is on drugs or ill. The camera rotates around him in a circle while he spins around on the spot. They speed time up and slow it down at certain times. This makes Romeo seem confused, lost and uncomfortable.
Romeo and Juliet have a strange association with water. We often see them submerged in water or they are around water. When we first see Juliet she is completely submerged in water in her bath. Also when Romeo and Juliet first in counter each other they are at different sides of a water aquarium. This could be because water is calm and a neutral substance unlike Verona beach and their familys, this shows how different they are.
The opening montage gives us a lot of information about the film. They give us screenshots of the film and short clips of maybe an idea of what will happen. Effectively like a film trailer. They give us clips of a statue of Jesus in between the two familys buildings which shows they are religious familys. it also shows close ups of magazines advertising weapon and guns. This shows us that Verona beach is a violent and religious place.
I conclude that Romeo and Juliet are very different to there setting.

a paragraph is 5-7 sentences not 4. Also don't say He, say his name. Lastly make the last sentence of your paragraph a idea of what they are gonna read in the next paragraph.

An essay should be way better than that if you actually want a good grade. And it should also be longer

Try to implement devices such as metaphors and rhetorical questions, I did this 1000 word essay last year and go an A 25/30 marks
