TheScaryDoor wroteBonehed wrote Okay, I guess my only other question then is how do I tell which are installed games, and which are system files? Is there any easy way?
ripped games are under /games/(what ever game it is) (assuming you used freestyle dash to rip your game)
GOD games are under /content/0000000000000000/(what ever game it is)
ripped games can be copied and played from external hdd/usb if it has enough room.
GOD games cannot be played from external hdd/usb
and do not use the nxe dashboard to install your games to your hard drive, do it from xex menu or freestyle dash
to do it from xex menu make a folder in games titled what your game is then go into that folder and press y and press copy dvd
to do it from freestyle dash just go to utilities and go to copy dvd
I did use the FSD DVD rip option first, but NXE2GOD wouldn't find them after the rip. I know I probably just have to point nxe2god in the proper direction, but like I said earlier, I'm a noob. Give me some time, I'm learning.

tyiphius wrote GOD format does work on an external. That is the ONLY format ive ever used. It wont show up on the Metro Dash, but if you manage the path in FSD it will show up in the FSD Games list.
Hmm. Okay, so I moved Oblivion to the external, changed the game path, and then rebooted to see if it worked. Unfortunately, no...I did however move the COC Black Ops that came installed with the console (Thanx Mafia5k!) when I moved Oblivion and it played.
I'm now wondering if that file is a different format maybe?
Also, another question occured to me during my little "trial run". Is there anyway to have FSD look into both the internal and external drive for the game path. I noticed that I only had the option of one HDD while setting up the path. No additional path I guess is what I'm trying to say.

Uh, oh. I've moved Oblivion back, set my two game paths through FSD, and now none of the games work anymore! Not even the xbla. Not sure what I've done, but it seems bad. Anyone have suggestions?

Sigh...
Another update from my end. I can no longer use DL, NXE2GOD, XM360, XeXMenu, FSD without the Xbox displaying an error box which reads:
"Game Error
The game counldnt stErn. Try downloading the game again.
For more help visit
Xbox.com"
This message and being kicked back to the NXE Dash makes me wonder what I have done wrong.
What have I done?!

Okay, okay, I figured it out. Just had to rebuild the database. Got both game paths working, and yes, GOD can be played from the external.
Thank you to all who helped me out on this.
