They both can do the same things.
I personally would buy an RGH because they can be newer consoles.
That means a much less chance of RRoD.

RGH. They can do more stuff than a jtag; for instance running a dev kernal. Also you can dual boot them to have one nand as Xbox LIVE safe and another for running your homebrew.

They are almost the exact same when it comes to running it, so get the best console you can for the price, rgh are typically a little cheaper.

What do u mean amble? Im pretty sure u cant get a jtags to go on live safely and run homebrew....
