To what Panda said it is personal preference, I myself owned x31's for a very long time. Got some ax720's and there better to me. But thats just me, so no one can really tell you that it will work great for you or not.

Again, it's a personal preferences. Tritons, Astros, and Turtle Beaches have different sound cards that sound different to everyone. I know the latest Turtle Beaches have settings where you can play with the pitch and deepness of your voice.

Get Tritton AX720. They are a reasonable price (129$), surround sound with amp, feels great even after many hours of gaming, and dont break like TurtleShits

My tutrle beaches didnt
the wires went so only one speaker played, trittons are still going and ive had them longer

You need to save up your money and get something different than both of those. I would save up and get Astro A40s. It does not matter what version you get. I would never get a pair of turtle beaches because they are not compatible for anything and they are over priced for their quality. Tritons are good but I would not buy the ones that are only $50 you will end up regretting it later after you have no choice but to keep it. Finally before you get anything, go to the topic in the music discussion and ask the guy that has a topic with over 1000 views.

I'm pretty sure that the X11 are the best headset if you're on a low budget (performance wise). I would probably pick the X11 :-)
