You will always wake up, its a normal dream in the outside world, the only difference, is you are aware you are dreaming. Just dont do an OBE.

I've been attempting to lucid dream for around a year and haven't been successful. Every-time I begin to I abruptly wake up. This topic should help the beginners though!

If you panic the sleep paralysis will make you tense up more. You need to just become calm and then try to move your hands onto your face. The only dangerous thing that could happen in sleep paralysis is that your are blocking your air ways and cannot breathe.
