Theres probably something wrong with the laser and it won't read your discs

Two things. 1. Your laser might be screwed.
2. It might be old and the xbox wont work sometimes.
Mine does the same thing i just need it to get warmed up then it works.
Oh yeah, another one is the faceplate. Its weird i know but it actually works

Get something to blow air down the disc tray, probably dust on the laser. Happens to me occasionally. If that doesn't work, just trial and error it. It will eventually read.

This happened to me awhile ago.
I had to buy a new disc tray.
There may be ways to fix but im not sure

Try All Games And There Should Be One That Works
Play That For 5-10mins
then any game will play
or
keep trying game u wanna play till it works
