title says all im trying to jailbreak my ipod and ive got a prob
ive seen all the videos and ive tried most things so i hope ttg can help me
when i load redsn0w and i do the DFU it doesnt find my device ive been trying for 4 days my friends have done this im on IOS 5.01
please help guys

The 5.0.1 untether should auto recognize the IPSW so try without selecting it. If that doesn't work try a different computer, because a problem similar to that happened to me and that's how I fixed it.

You can download the ipsw for 5.0.1 and go to extras and click select ipsw, and choose the ios 5.0.1 and then jailbreak after it being in dfu mode.

the redsn0w should automatically have the ispw so you dont need to show it

lol i think so DFU but thats it hold power off button for 3
then hold off and home for 10
then release power for 15
the screen goes black but nothing :/
