-But it's expensive
A gaming rig costs about 300-500 and can upgrade any time you have money while consoles can not.
Not to mention you can buy games as low as $10 during a steam sale.
-PC gaming is dieing
PC gaming is slowly increasing with games coming out like Diablo 3,Counter Strike:GO,Guild Wars 2,and Dota 2
-Graphics
PC can run games over 60 FPS while consoles can not.
PC games can also have modified textures and graphics to run at it's fullest where consoles are limited and have no mods to improve gameplay.
-Community
There is a huge amount of mature players on PC and it is easier and free to pair up with players because of dedicated servers.
There is also free name changing,Dedicated servers,and better online service than paying for LIVE
