I am trying to install the new version of itunes so i can update my phone, but my computer isnt letting me, it is giving me a error "there is a error with this windows installer program package." Please help.

Check for any system updates. Maybe you need to update your computer.

Try completely uninstalling iTunes from your computer then going to the website and installing it from there.

Go to add or remove programs in the control panel, on Windows 7, just go to start, control panel, and then uninstall a program. Find Apple Software Update on the list, and click on repair. Once that is done, try to download iTunes again and it should work.

Theres no "Apple Software Update" there.
