My friend has recently told me he has come up with this great way to scam the creators of the game. He downloads the game to his xbox and returns it after the download is complete. Now i Thought that even with the download you still have to have the game in the disc tray. Can anyone confirm this

I think you have to have the disk if you have a normal disk drive... But I may be wrong :/

certain disc drives can do that such as the ones in JTAGS its just a modded disc drive

This wouldn't work for a normal xbox as to play the game off the hard-drive you need to have the disc for the game in the xbox. Unless your friend had a Jtag or modified console

yes you must still have the game in the xbox for it to work the only thing it does by downloading is allow the game to run faster and plus if it gets scratched the game will still play
