Are you implying that I don't spend a lot of money on headphones? I'm considering a pair of Audeze LCD-2s as my next upgrade. They'll run you around $900, and that doesn't include any other hardware. Think about what you're saying and PERHAPS READ THE THREAD. I've covered this many times.

Sure everything can break. Beats just happen to break under much less stress than other headphones. It's all relative.

If you tried other headphones, like the kind I recommend, you'd be blown away if you think the Beats are good. Other headphones are better at a fraction of the price. Basically, you have nothing to compare them to and have clearly never done any research.

Beats have just been publicized as really good and sponsored by idols like dre... People just assume they're good... Its soooo annoying!!
