You can use a program named amcap. It use a lot of space for one video but the quality is amazing. It only cost 30 bucks, but it just for recording. I am telling you this quality is good.

sorry im not looking to spend any more money on programs. im just trying to get some assistance with getting the best quality i can with my dazzle using what i have now. i appreciate your advice though
