r0ckybalb0a wrote Perfect...just what i needed to know. Thanks a lot man.

Since it was set at 0....was it not even on? Or this is additional speeds added to the fan normal speeds?

Ive actually never used it cause i have a hardwired 12v fan, so i dont really know turn it back to 0 and go up and put your ear next to the fan and see if you can hear it. Im guessing it is the increase from the original speed though, cause an xbox would get 2 red rings pretty quick with no fans.

Set the fans to 100% in FSD, and change the settings to display Celcius instead of Farenheit.

r0ckybalb0a wrote On my RGH Falcon, I noticed the Mem temp is the one that sometimes nears the red at about 162 F. Is this too hot or is it okay to continue playing at this tempature? Also, which is better for the system running a game from the Xbox HDD or from a disc?

Should I increase fan speed under settings?

Thanks!

162 F is around 72 degrees Celsius, well that's a little hot. I've seen Xenons have a CPU Temp on 90 C and didn't show any errors. You should definitely run your fans on 100% speed in Freestyle dashboard.

r0ckybalb0a wrote Its RGH....on the FSD there is an option for the fan speed...what should i set it to? Right now its at 0....should i do 50%? 100%?

Set it high to keep it extra cool, or in between to keep it at a normal xbox temp(around 125 degrees Fahrenheit)

What if i have Jasper do i need to worry about it?

nah, you can just leave it where it is at. Just never turn the fan lower than the default. if you want it extra cool you can turn it up though.

Thanks for the help guys! Set my fan to 90% and after 2 hours of playing i am at 48 C for memory and 44 for GPU!

Big improvement!
