Eminem has been active in music since he was 14, hitting the underground scene. In 1996, he released Infinite as a mix tape, which is relatively unknown. His first official LP drop was in 1999 with the Slim Shady LP, with his hit single, My Name Is. Hew burst onto the mainstream scene and his album was very highly acclaimed. He also broke ground for white rappers, and rappers of any color at all. Eminem's lyrical content has been highly acclaimed, and he's one of the biggest known names in the world. He has two Diamond albums, which means that they sold more than 10 Million copies. Those two CD's were The Marshall Mathers LP, and The Eminem Show. Eminem is famous for his different style if lyrical delivery and rich lyrical content, not only in his singles, but on the album in its entirety. He also has started his own record label "Shady Records" and helped out other artists.

Lil' Wayne is an over hyped rapper. I think his lyrical content is pretty much bland, and is nothing new or innovative. He also has no good flow, simply speaks, and has an overly raspy voice. He also puts most of his "good" lyrics on his singles only, and leaves the rest of the CD to rot. He's only about money, and none of his raps are good enough to be mainstream. He's the president of Young Money records.
