Okay, some of you might remember my old thread about my work out.
I'm 14 years old, 135 lbs, 5'3. After discussing with my dad about lifting weights, he said I can only lift 4 lbs weights/dumbbells. So that's 4 lbs on each arm.
If I do about 3 sets of 10 reps every other day until June, will it help me lose fat?
I was thinking of only lifting weights, doing 20+ push ups with legs on chair, 15-20+ curl ups to lose fat. Belly fat and pretty much body fat.
So, will it help me at all? I'll be doing the weights every other day but the push ups and curl ups EVERYDAY.
Thanks

You would slowly lose body fat. If you push yourself harder than just 20 push ups and curl ups then it'll speed up the process. But I think that 20 push ups and curl ups are pretty easy. I don't think minor things like that will even help you much. If you aren't pushing yourself then there's not much of a point in doing it.

As long as you can feel it. When you are losing fat, you can feel it. It burns, its a good pain. But you cant just lift and expect to lose. You have to seriously push yourself until you cant do one more.

Those would be just minimum, I go as high as I can, usually 35-40+ curl ups and 30+ push ups. But those are the least I can do. The push ups only make my arms hurt a bit, and curl ups make my stomach hurt a bit.

If you feel pain then you're doing it right. If you don't feel anything then you aren't doing it correctly.

So I'm doing it correctly
So 4 lbs on each arm should help lose fat? Would anything be noticeable by June?
