If you have a 12v fan mod, and not an extra 12v, then you are running at a constant 100%. If you mod the OEM fan to accept the full 12v, then you cannot change the speed.

And tbh, I have never really had a problem with the sound, I just turn the TV up a bit, and it tunes out. Better that, than an unusable console ;)

However... If you are really not liking the sound, then I would advise selling it, and getting either a better JTAG, or, an RGH Slim

External 120mm fans are the way to go. Never rrod with one on

i rock my slims at 65-70 % that way it is better than stock but not to loud
