I Have recently decided that I am going to buy the components for a gaming PC, but I'm not to sure how I can tell If the processor I buy will work with the motherboard I buy. When I buy them from probably [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] how can I tell ?

If the motherboard is socket 1155 it will work with a socket 1155 CPU. If the socket is AM3 it will work with a socket AM3 CPU, etc.
