Unplug everything and plug it back in. The orange light CAN be on when not plugged in. Its pretty weird. I was packing my xbox and the orange light was on when it wasnt plugged to anything.

The power brick stores power which is why the orange light is still glowing if not connected. I have had my power flash but I stayed connected to live and in the game I was playing. Make sure all your cables are firmly connected if that doesn't work try a friends cables, IF that doesn't work :russianroulette:

The power brick can sustain power for a short amount of time after being plugged in. So make sure it is plugged into the wall. If it is, unplug EVERYTHING and then plug it back in.
If that doesn't work, you might need to buy a new powerbrick.
