I cannot advanced further in the world tour because I have no cars in my garage that can take place in this event. However, the game does not tell me which cars are needed or which class. It just tells me to rank up or more or purchase new cars.
What car do I need to continue the career?

I had this problem myself. I had to buy an american made car and race it (Older car). Try that.

Any American brand car will do? Any other brands that may work?

If memory serves me right I bought a 67 corvette. I know I had a newer vette and it did not work.
Also look at the track your racing and try to see if there could be a certain make or model that is required.

When I click on Career and it shows the track I'm going to on the map but then shows me an error about my car isn't suitable so I can't see what makes or model is allowed
