I'd save my money and get the Xeport 3010 for rock. The 5010 is also a good option if you want something more bassy, and there's also the Soundmagic PL30.

Keep in mind they won't be that much better than the 5010 or 3010, if better at all! I'm thinking about getting all three, though. They're all really great, and you'll be happy with whatever you choose.

i got beats[i know you hate em but i just wanna see what you would suggest]
Budget: about 200$ probably
Music preference: Techno/Big Bass/dirty dubstep
Type / form factor and portability: portabul inear or out ear
Open/Closed (Not for in-ear): open
Source(s): iphone. if thats what you mean.
You'll get awesome results from that budget and those preferences. If you want an IEM, the Sony EX600, Vsonic GR07, Radius W Pro DDM, and Monster Turbine Pro Gold are all incredible. If you want an over-ear headphone, the V-Moda M80 is exactly what you're looking for. Beats hardly even compare to any of these. Not even the Pros. If you can take the Beats back, you're golden!
yea i can't take the beats back but when i get my job ima come here when i get my mixer and get more advice from you when i get more money. Thanks for this.
You're welcome! Unfortunately, I don't know a lot about DJ equipment. More than the average person, but not enough to make a proper recommendation.

Sony, if you must limit yourself to two brands. There are TONS of other options, and Sony is definitely one of the best, but again, there are other options.
How much do you want to spend and what kind of music do you like? Also, what kind do you want (Over-ear, in-ear, on-ear, etc.)?

Yes, but I would get them directly from Xeport.
