When doing sigs, it is not necessary, but when I usually make them, I use the rule of 3rds; Instead of centerish placement. Try to use higher quality c4ds (the outline/cut on left one looks choppy). Good for a start, the style is very basic. Once, or if you start doing them consistently, the style should become more unique. Not sure what the white border is for, but i do put those in my work often aswell (usually to give a complimentary abstract) Pretty good work though. Keep it up.
My rate would be 8-8.5.

I'm assuming the giant gray border is due to a ss off of some website. But, wtf is that white strip down the left side for? Makes the sig look choppy and out of place.

The grey would be from the background of my photoshop. It's not part of the actual image. The white border was added because the sig is meant for a forum that has a black background and in contrast is suited to my liking however I can easily remove it if deemed necessary.
