Leave a game in there, put as many towels and blankets as possible, and cover the vents with duct tape.

do not wrap a towel around it that will just melt the chip and mother board and **** everything up. look up how do xbox get red rings and then just do one of them along as it doesn't over heat

Take some toothpicks and put them in the back of your XBOX where the holes are. You want them to wedge in the fan blades to stop them. You also need to keep the towels around the XBOX as well.

Sip wrote Well, TTG How could I make my xbox 360 red ring? I threw a towel over it along with a blanket and it feels very hot, but it will not red ring yet and its been on for like 2 hours, How long will it take for it to red ring? or what is another way to red ring it?
I want to red ring this xbox bcuz it is old, and I am doing a test thing
Please post below Thanks
Put in a game, wrap it in towels and put it somewhere blocked off from air as well.. turn it on and leave it there either through the day from morning to night or while youre asleep.
