Ok hello everybody i need help with my hauppage HD pvr , when i have it plugged in it says
Usb device not recognized,This usb port works because i have tried it with a usb storage device a mouse usb cord. I get the same error message with all of the computer usb ports.

Just go on their site and download the drivers for your PVR

I tried this it says "drivers have not been updated. compatible hardware not found."

has it ever worked before or is it the 1st time you have tried to plug it in ?

Just some things i found doing a quick google search with your problem.
"is the hardware recognized by Windows? If the hardware isn't found or recognized you cannot install drivers. I've also seen that error when trying to install software or drivers not supported by the OS."
"hi, then just update it. that's easy. if you couldn't find the right update, you can try this site:

there is a program I use which will find drivers for just about all hardware devices. the best part is it takes a snapshot of your system specifications and matches the right driver to go with it.

Might be you computer hardware itself Windows vista causes the most problems in my opinion and where my parents work when they brought these pc is they wouldnt work at all like asking for seriel keys and everything
