I dont really know why, but when ever someone calls graphics "GFX" on this forum, it kinda bugs me. I dont know about what you guys think but calling it "Graphics" just makes it sound more professional, but thats just my oppinion. Tell me what you think. Leave a reply with your oppinion.

It's just an abbreviation for graphics. Doesn't really bother me.

No, people who also say Graphic Design sound stupid; graphic design is such a huge genre and saying you're a "graphic designer" is just stupid. Most people usual Graphic Advertising or Graphic Communication, I think before giving yourself a title, you should know something about it first.

only when people classify Graphics as Animation, render on bg, etc, with gfx.

It's an abbreviation and I don't have any issue with that.

Not any different than calling Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, "MW3"
