Personally, I agree. For people who are asking " Why does it matter? It's the internet. " It matters because the way you speak to someone greatly impacts their view on you. If you want to be respected then you should talk in a matter worthy of it.

I'm just joking, but anyway, it depends on how illiterate they are. If I can make out what they are saying then its ok, but when you have those members who basically mash their keyboard with their feet, that can be really annoying.

Same here. I hate people who can't spell. Call me mean but I just dislike the person them-self when they cannot spell. Their arrogance is just appalling. I agree that it's the internet and of course, not everyone is going to spell properly or use correct grammar but a little effort goes a long way.

I think people need to learn to spell; most things online nowadays such as: Homework's, educational stuff and spelling sites already have auto-spelling things that automatically correct you on your grammar and spelling. No wonder a lot of kids can't spell to save their life.
