if ever playing on Outpost climb on top of the computer systems in the tunnel.last man standing every time i play that map. try it easily over 1,000 XP even with enemies with throwing knifes.

Trouble with Infected is your own teammates always look at where you are or just check your spot, soon as they die they come straight for you, that's the only annoying thing about Infected.

I always just doss around for a while until 5+ are Infected then I'll go to my spots, after the last one dies I'll run out and just start killing people. (You don't get extra XP even if you win. So just end it soon as you're last alive.)
