"We are aware that there has been a rise in people cheating in Clubs on Xbox 360 and PC by unfairly altering the stats of their Virtual Pros. Obviously, this is expressly contrary to our Terms of Service. As a result, we have begun banning user accounts associated with this practice.

We have now permanently banned 2,107 EA accounts on Xbox 360 and 647 on PC for this reason.

Were acutely aware of the damage cheats can do to the rest of the fair-playing Clubs community. For that reason, we spent a lot of time addressing the issue for FIFA 12. Its disappointing that it has now re-emerged, but an additional function we included in the game was the means to automatically identify and report anyone using such methods.

That system has identified those now banned, and will identify anyone who does so from now on. We urge any Clubs players who might be tempted to cheat to think again the result will be the same."

This was posted later in the same thread:

"The tool EA uses can detect every modification made on a VP. So if they low some stats, and rise another such as Speed, endurance...They will be detected. It does not matter if you are 6'11 tall and you mod your speed up to 95 but your Overall remains at 89.... you will be caught.
Players who play more than X online games with a hacked/modified VP will be banned.

They can see ALL stats, Every modification , Every game played... al that remains saved in their logs. So if you cheat you'll probably be banned. Take it serious !! "


Sounds like those of you who try and fool the system by putting your attacking stats high, while lowering your Def stats are no safer than the 127's

I wouldn't advise you to do it you might get banned
