That's exactly what you're doing. You cant flame, then say "no I wasn't flaming".

I've never been good at basketball, but just try to fit in with what everyone else is doing. Don't get frustrated if you miss or anything like that.

ask the coach or some players to help you out.

or just look online for some beginner techniques.

I've played basketball basically all my life (I'm 14 and in 8th grade). Just pay attention to your coach as much as you can and just watch people on your team that know what they are doing. The basics on offense are pretty much to just make sure you release the ball with one hand and flick your wrist to get spin on the ball. On defense stay low and box out to get rebounds.
