Well, i've been reading alot lately about Modded Controllers and how they are better then regular Xbox 360 controllers, and in a lot of ways, they are. BUT, there is allways a risk of getting banned, reset, perma-banned or alot of things. Plus theres that button under your controller that allways gets in your way!
SO, heres my veiws:
Xbox360 standard controllers are great, light weight, sometimes have cool designs and can have different features depending on what generation they are, for example i recently bought myself a MW3 Edition X360 controller. It's pretty cool to be honest, with its digital camo color, and spinning D-Pad.
But, as allways having siblings that are younger, they tend to break things, and the controllers just so happen to not have the hardest shell. So I understand if a person modifies their controller's shell to make it harder so it doesnt break, and then would find it intresting to give it turbo fire, different buttons, new LEDs, and mabey some bullet shells where the A,B,X,Y buttons were. Yeah, thats all really cool, but when you use it ONLINE, and use turbo fire (For lets say a Barett 50.cal sniper, or the MK14, or the RSASS) the weapon your using shoots as if it were an automatic, other people will see this and try and get you banned, or the game will detect that your weapon is shooting to fast, and will call alot of atention to yourself.
Now, how i fixed all that: I bought a Datel TURBO Fire 2 controller from wallmart for an easy $20, it features: Blue LEDs, a harder shell, feature button 1 and 2 so you can set up your own features that will activate when pressing that button, and its wireless.
(The controller allso comes with a USB cable you can use to have different features, it's facttory setting is Turbo, and i think Sniper mode. But you can change all that, including it's sensitivity, button layout, remap it, set button macros, and lots of other things by downloading it's customizer at [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] )
Cons: Its a bit larger than your X360 controller and takes some getting used to.
All in all, I think for $20 it's a better deal than a $125 modded one that can get you banned. (unless it comes with aim bot...then i'd buy it)
Hope you liked this thread, and i hope it helps you!

Hell No. I bought one and yeah the rapid fire is good but the controller is shit.
Its soo big and you have to use the shitty upvolved PS3 analog sticks. I hate it, O and when you plug in your mic it can only be the uni-corded mics. Not the ones with the side things that come with Turtle beachs and tritons and astro.
DONT BUY.

Well, I got a brand new 3 mode controller for 25, which is cheaper than a regular controller. I needed a new controller anyway so I thought I might as well have the mods anyway even if I don't use them(:
