As long as you have all the correct wires plugged into your PVR it will work. Your Turtle Beach wires only act as an extension to the audio wires, they do not effect the PVR in any way.

A PVR comes with other wires that plug in from your PVR to your TV. The USB transfers everything to your computer with a program called "Total Media Extreme"
