Tided up my sonic review, changeing some spelling mistakes and adding some more description. Is it acceptable?

After Modern Warfare 2, developer Infinity Ward seemed to be in deep trouble. An overly public spat with Activision led to the loss of numerous staff, leaving the studios fate in the balance.

They have stepped up in spectacular fashion though. With reinforcements coming in from developer Sledgehammer Games, theyve brought us a stunning example of hi-octane warfare yet again. Its loud, its brash and a little bit insane. I wouldnt want it any other way.

The story brings together the surviving characters of MW2 in the search for Makarov, the lunatic behind Russias waging of World War III. Theres still a lot of globetrotting and character switches, but it's much more coherent here than in the last two games. Sure, it stretches the realms of plausibility, but it works if you dont sit there nitpicking the hell out of it.

Ill avoid spoiling the big set-pieces. Many smaller parts of the game are just as impressive. Hijacking a submarine for instance, places you in a darkened web of corridors with eager laser-sights poking through steam as the Russians try to find you. Youll fight off wild hyenas, speed past an exploding Russian Fleet in New York and have zero-G gunfights in a nose-diving aeroplane.

While the game generally favours a balls-to-the-wall approach, gameplay is occasionally broken up into different styles. Overhead drone targeting returns, but the remote gun on a chopper is the clear winner. Stealth sections let the game down though as you're forced to follow an AI partner. The only choice you get is to shoot the left or right guard. Deviating from the path results in a base-wide alert or a game over screen.

Firing between targets is fantastically smooth, thanks to the light lock-on. Some weapons have a lot of kick to them, mainly ACOG-fitted ones, which I dumped immediately for anything with a red dot. Grenades have lost a little oomph, and I often forgot they were there. The enemy still loves to throw them, so the new ability to send them right back is much appreciated.

The game can be frustrating at times thanks to some awkward checkpoints and the old problem of constantly spawning enemies until you cross a magic line. After dying a few times at tough sections, I was then seemingly ushered through, as if the game whispered into the soldier's ears "let him through, he's getting pissed off." Suddenly, enemy soldiers weren't shredding my face as much as the previous attempts and I waltzed through. Very suspicious.

The game is crying out for a new graphics engine. It's not ugly at all, but the colours seem flat, like they secretly wish they were grey. The same old typeface and HUD refuse to let the series look like its advancing. A little polish around these areas would make it feel fresh. On the plus side, they've got rid of the idiotic jam effect when you get shot.

There arent many changes in multiplayer. Campers and spawn-stalkers are as present as ever and newcomers dont really stand a chance until they've levelled up and unlocked loadout edits, streaks and so on. But its worth pushing through these initial problems for the fun that lies ahead.

Killstreaks have been renamed Assault Strike Packages and you can opt to replace them with Support Strike Packages. While the Support Strike Packages are still financed by kills, they dont reset when you die. Theyre not as powerful as Killstreaks but they help balance things for the non-hardcore. Points can now be added to streaks for completing objectives, better rewarding team players.

Individual weapons are upgradable now, with players able to choose from recoil reductions and such along with familiar attachment options. Not a grand departure from before, but certainly tweaked for the better.

Amongst the usual multiplayer modes is the new Kill Confirm mode, easily the best addition to COD since zombies. In this team deathmatch, players drop a set of tags when they die. If an enemy picks it up their team get points, if allies pick it up, the other team is denied points. With the tags being the only way to score, the matches are much more movement based, as camping wont net you points unless you have a buddy picking up after you. Its similar to the coin-collecting mode in Timesplitters: Future Perfect and it's fan-friggin'-tastic.

The separate Spec Ops co-op missions against the AI return and the new survivor mode is IWs answer to a zombie mode. Unsurprisingly, giving the enemy guns and throwing juggernauts at you isn't as much fun as plugging the undead. Being able to buy better guns, turrets and aerial strikes as you earn more money from each wave does help with the added challenge. Both modes still only support two players, which is a letdown when you look at Gears 3, Black Ops and Halo Reach.

The competitive multiplayer is going to be hard to play on a casual basis, as the competition is fierce. Kill Confirm is an absolute must though. Co-op and Survivor is fun for friends that have worn-out older COD games too. The single-player game is whats really impressed me this time though. After approaching it sceptically, Ive simply been blown away. It stands tall next to Uncharted 3 as an outrageously fun piece of entertainment. Overall, 2011s FPS of the year.

Genre: Action-adventure game,Beat 'em up

Synopsis

The Incredibles is a video game based on the film of the same name, released in 2004 for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, Nintendo GameCube, Game Boy Advance, Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X and Mobile phones.

Setting

The setting on this game goes to loads of different places, as it keeps the classic games level style, insted of a free-roam world. this one of the first Action/Adventure games i had, and i thought it was brilliant also the way it used cut-scenes from the actual films was a little cheap but i really liked it, if you had watched the film, then you could get a sense of what the level was going to be like. All the levels were different to suit the characters, like if it was mr incredible the strong one, there would be loads of obsticles were you were to break/lift stuff, mrs incredible the stretchy one, there would be obsticles for her to swing on or use her stretch to break power systems. dash would have levels full of jumps and strong obsticles that he would use his super speed to jump over or aviod also the missions were time limited because it was sort of like a race when you did a superfast mission. Violet was generally the same as dash's.
Setting rating:8/10

Gameplay

The gameplay of the incredibles was really good, If you have watched the film you'll know its about superpowers, well superhero's infact. There are 4 superpowers you use it the game and that is: Super Strenth, which was great for fighting missions, you could also do a number of cool things, lke being able to throw heavy objects at people, or cars, or even helicopters, which was fun for bringing out the beast from within. Super Speed, which was my favourite and probably everyone elses, I enjoyed the way you would race through jungles, moterways, at one point your actually running on water, i mean water come on that is beast! Super Force, which was fun but didnt keep the element of being invincible like on the film, insted you had a health limit on the forcefield you had which actually disapointed me. Super Stretch, which was my second favourite power, fun for throwing grenades, people and doing spins with my arms killing everyone around me, also using it to swing from place to place, it was really fun to use.Overall id say the game was really fun to play.
Gameplay Rating:8.6/10

Graphics

Considering it was a game based on a film, and like all videogames were then, they were really quickly made games after the film had been out, and were usually terrible graphics wise, but it actually wasn't at the time they were pretty good in game, but the cutscenes in the game, not just took from the film were awful due to it being zoomed in so much the graphics were actually terrible, but apart from that they were fine.

Graphics Rating:5.4/10

Controls

The controls for this game were pretty good, nothing to complicated, was just basic controls really. Seemed like platform controls with the X to jump SQUARE to punch CIRCLE to grab or throw and Y being a special move. The controls were fun to use and i dont think they could have picked any better ones, also due to using no cars/planes/helicopters the controls wern't all over the place due to useing different equipment, luckly the whole game is on foot so no confusuion involved.

Controls Rating:7.4/10

Overall

Overall i believe the games is fun yet quite a short game due to the fact its a movie branded film, making it not such a great game but can easily entertain someone under the age of 11. The controls are great real easy to use, the graphics are pretty bad but it was made in a short period of time, gameplay was simple and great minor faults but nothing to bad!

Overall Rating:7/10

Wow, Great Review, you have great talent.

Enter The Matrix

Not actual cover

[align=center]Release Date: May 15th, 2003
Developers: Shiny Entertainment
Publishers: Atari
Platforms: GameCube, PlayStation 2, Windows, Xbox(not 360 of course)
Genre: Shooter/Fighting/RPG
Players: 1
Rating: 9

Synopsis
Still trying to find it but here are my words very exiting shooting/fighting thriller for teenagers.

Story
The story comes from the movies The Matrix Reloaded which has scenes of the movie on the game so you will probably recognize some scenes if you have seen the movie

Gameplay
Players play as either Niobe or Ghost, each of whom have slight variations during their story. Most levels involve controlling players in a third person perspective, using guns and fighting skills to defeat opponents and complete level objectives. At any time, players can activate bullet time which slows down time, giving players the ability to perform actions such as shoot in midair, dodge bullets and perform various maneuvers. Some levels involve one on one martial arts fighting against single opponents. In levels involving vehicles, one driving a car and another piloting the Logos craft, the style of gameplay depends on the selected player, with Niobe maneuvering the vehicles to avoid obstacles whilst Ghost takes control of a gun to fight off incoming enemies. A hacking system allows players to enter codes, allowing them to unlock secrets, weapons and skills.

Graphics
The Graphics are amazing considering this game came put in 2003. The graphics engine took at least 3 years to make one desk with the graphics this game has...weird huh?

Controls
The controls for me where very weird and uncommon i would change the controls of this game if you still play it

Rating: [out of 10]
Game play: about 6 hours of gameplay so 8 out of 10
Graphics : Being 2003 8 out of 10
Controls : being very confusing 5 out of 10
