I dont think they will be doing double xp weekends because people can buy it in the prestige shop.
They would have to stop your xp if you have any, and i think it would be a bit too much work for them.

If they do deicded to release a Double XP Weekend then don't expect it until the first complete Map Pack has been released. Other than that, they may not release any Double XP Weekends as you can purchase DXP via the Prestige Shop and from working with your clan to get the Clan Level up.

No he never LOL. I was reading his tweets and he said that he wants to 'spice things up' with a few days of double XP. He never said he will though.
