I'd go with a pvr , easier to set up!

PVR's are more user friendly. Black Magic are expensive and from what I hear they are the same as a PVR. So id go with the PVR

most commentators have both one for streaming and one for recording...

I have a HD PVR for when I am playing MW3 and other games I like to record and see if I get any good clips/footage

+ PVR has better quality graphics, but the black magic is cheaper

Just personal preferance but I like the PVR
