hey guys my xbox controller when i plug in my xbox headset will not allow me to speak through the headset, it will allow me to hear what my friends are saying but it will not allow me to speak through it, which is quite annoying, any solutions?

If you have the retail mic you get when you buy an xbox, (wired mic) make sure you have the little slider button on the wire to talk or on or the color green
