Looking at it from a scientific standpoint who knows if we are or not. But I am a Christian and believe Adam and Eve were the first created. All the people on Earth were wiped out except people with Noah. But God created everyone in his image, and humans were humans back then just like they are now. After Adam and Eve were created, there could have been loads of people that the Bible doesn't mention. Just people with not a big role and were just there. Like i said they were humans to, if there would have just been huge inbreeding, there kids would be like inbreeded kids now a days. So in my opinion, there had to be other people that the Bible doesn't mention. I am not here to argue the Bible, it is just my opinion, I will probably not reply to comments,,

Interesting, even my Religion teacher doesn't believe the Adam and Eve Story.

Interbreeding wasn't a problem back then. This is because when you interbreed, you get more defective genes that run in your family, which means a higher chance an interbreeded baby will be defective. Back then their genes were so pure, and had so little defects, interbreeding wasn't a problem. Over time though, we developed genetic mutations which caused defects.

My belief is more of an evolution.
According to some experiments done, the conditions of early earth could have formed single cell organisms. I believe that these could have evolved into many different types of creatures, including humans. Meaning that we basically did all come from a single "parent" and in turn, we are all related.

Here is what Wiki says about that experiment.
Most amino acids, often called "the building blocks of life", can form via natural chemical reactions unrelated to life, as demonstrated in the MillerUrey experiment and similar experiments that involved simulating some of the hypothetical conditions of the early Earth in a laboratory.[1] Other equally fundamental biochemicals, such as nucleotides and saccharides can arise in similar ways.

In all living things, these biochemicals are organized into more complex molecules, including macromolecules, such as proteins, polysaccharides, and nucleic acids. The construction of these macromolecules is mediated by nucleic acids and enzymes, that are themselves synthesized through biochemical pathways catalysed largely by proteins. Which of these various classes of organic molecules first arose, and how they formed the first life, is a major topic in the discipline of abiogenesis.

PS I am Catholic, so Im not trying to say your beliefs are wrong. I just believe that those teachings could have been somewhat simplified for the common people to be able to understand what they were teaching. Because they would not have understood about amino acids and such. My beliefs are more along the lines that God made the matter and set it in motion, and he could also intervene whenever he wants.

But the thing I don't understand is
How was the very first human made?

If he was from a single celled organism then
how did the human care for himself when he was born?
How was he born / delivered?
Was he just pop up on earth?

Think really hard and you see where i'm going with this.

This my friend, proves the existence of a God. The first human had to been made an adult with an extent of knowledge, or the first baby ever had to have some "Intelligent" Control.

Yeah, I see where your friend is getting that because how would a baby provide for himself or a adult in a world he knows nothing about and no intelligents provide and survive
