I tried to install windows7 but when i try to boot with the cd it says that the bootmgr is missing..
My boot setup is
Cd rom
Hard drive

You entered your BIOS and made your CD/DVD drive your first/primary boot device?
In most cases your HDD is your first boot device, so even if you have a CD/DVD in your tray it will ignore the disc.

As stated above the first thing would be to check boot order again from the bios. If you dont know how, it is usually F1, F2, DEL, ESC, F10. From there navigate to the boot section and then make sure to go CD, CD, Floppy, Network, HDD. Save changes and exit.
Then when booting it should read from the cd, then just press any key when reading and it should boot from that. If it does not, then changes are its not a bootable CD/DVD or your dvd drive is broken or you are trying to read a DVD from a CD drive.
