I don't think it's the best as the motherboard and processor don't match the quality of the rest of the build.

Uhh 6970 and 6950?

You know that if you crossfire both of those the performance of the 6970 with 6950 will make the 6970 equal to a 6950.

I'd suggest you sell the 6950 and buy an 6970.
