Ok i found a pigeon with a band on it which means its owned by some1.. right?
and dont know what to do really and i gave it seeds and water it ate some seed its night here and we put it in a mini loft thing it has venalition and everything when should i let it go? and say i keep it for 5-8 days without letting it fly would it return home or just come back to my house?

i am not sure try contacting a shelter or something that deals with birdss?

If you let it go, there's no way it would have any trouble in the wild if it didn't get back to its owner. Birds are ninjas.

lol when i found it though it was like half dead from starvation so took it home and fed it etc... didnt eat much though

I don't know a ton about pigeons but I think that birds are pretty smart and the fact that some of them migrate then come back to the exact same spot when it gets warmer is pretty cool. I would try letting it go after about a week then if it flys back to your house keep it or ask a local vet or something.

I would look up what kinds of food they eat and feed it that.

You should take it to an animal clinic tomorrow or eat it...
