Cold Stream is a mix of things old and new. Theres no real story to speak of in this four chapter campaign, but it does offer a mostly fresh-feeling outdoor setting. Youll face Uncommon Common infected types like Mudmen and Riot Police Zombie throughout the campaign, plus youll see a few new tricks, like the opportunity to be washed away by strong currents. The map was created by a modder, and later valve decided to team up with him to make a new full featured DLC to be released on PC and Xbox.

The release date for the xbox is scheduled for late 2011 or early 2012.

The DLC is already available on the PC



Valve has included two campaigns from L4D1 in this latest expansion, the maps Dead Air, and Blood Harvest. Thus basically rendering L4D1 obsolete unless you enjoy the gameplay style of L4D1 better.

As for a patch for the many glitches of L4D2, if you haven't already figured it you yet Valve is 100% ok with glitches and mods under one condition (They do not create unfair versus online experience for anyone playing.) In fact some glitches were intentionally put in the game to lead to Easter eggs.

As for a price of the DLC it will be the traditions L4D price of: 540msp

This seems kind of random for players and fans of the Left 4 Dead series. I mean the developers were inactive for ever, and now they release a DLC. Hmmm... that's pretty cool I guess, hopefully they are working on Left 4 Dead 3.

They are no where near inactive.
They are creating a new engine which will lead to possibly Half-Life 3 or Black Mesa then possibly L4D3 which will probably come before either of the other titles. They also are working on the new Counter-Strike.

Well I was talking about Left 4 Dead 2, not other games, it just seemed like Left 4 Dead 2 was somewhat abandoned (like CoD: WaW) because the last DLCs were released a long time ago.

Man This IS Really Cool, I Loved Playing This Game Back When It Was Big Unfortuntaly I Scratched Up The Disk. I miss this game so much I hope They Come OUt With L4D3 some day or any leads would be nice.
