So basically if you didn't know BioWare performed a PR stunt all over the world to mark the up coming release of ME3. As featured in thisnews article.
So far they've done San Fran, Vegas, New York and today was London's turn.
Problem was that I [and many others] have been waiting to track the GPS but it didn't appear until after it had apparently been 'recovered'. This seems odd considering every other launch was easy to track in real time.
Now here's the part that really get's me thinking. Take a look at the previous GPS paths from the past launches.
San Fran.
- Not available - ???
Vegas.

New York.

They look pretty normal and what you would expect.
Now today's launch in London.

At the start of the trip you see a small 'kink' and a 'change' in direction left of Saffron Walden. Problem is by the time the 'kink' was on the GPS tracker BioWare had already declared the game as 'Recovered'.
Looking at the rest of the route it almost, seems too convenient, that long dead straight line then a final more familiar ending before it 'landed' or so they say.
I'm not mad over it, it just seems like they are making it up for whatever reason. I mean it wouldn't be difficult to edit the map to make it look more convincing. When actually it 'landed' no where near London - AS WAS DESCRIBED.
I think they are lying.

A lot of the balloons went off course from where they were supposed to land, one landed in a tree and another in a cliff somewhere. IGN even have video proof of the game stuck up in a tree.
They set these balloons off from an accurate location as possible so it lands in the estimated areas. I don't see how this is fake when it shows them launching the balloons in videos?
Also I think it's obnoxious that IGN went after this, big publicity stunt for them that they've leeched off bioware.

I'm not saying it's fake. I'm saying it's fixed.
But I do agree with you, IGN have some cheek, why they was ever allowed to go after a copy is unbelievable.

They are going to give-away the copy that was retrieved. If they didn't get it in time then they would give-away one anyway
