What do you guys think would help my internet connection? Router or Ethernet Switch?

I play xbox and I have a computer to do things also.

For a two computer LAN, a router will do just fine and you won't get a headache configuring it. As for wireless networking support of routers, choose the wired alternative for its stability and inexpensiveness
