Yes, but there are better options now. They're not a bad buy, still, just the THE best. Instead, look at the Ultrasone HFI-580 and Brainwavz HM5.

Skullcandies are not all bad, the newer products are designed in house and actually sound nice for the price. Beats on the other hand, not good at all. The Skullcandy aviator destroyed the Studio in bass. Cheap older skullcandies are terrible though.

I actually got to use a pair of Aviators a few days ago, and I was pretty impressed. Since the M50 is my only real reference, that's all I can use to judge them. The Aviators do not isolate well at all, are not built nearly as well, and the cable is not so great. Still, the sound is more fun than the M50, and I loved it for electronic music. I actually thought they were pretty bad for rock, which I found strange. They seem to be marketed at the rock crowd. They're definitely bassy and I found the soundstage to be very good. Unfortunately, I didn't have enough time to make a conclusion on the overall sound, but from what I heard, the M50 has better overall sound quality.

Yeah, I'll probably just add a passage about Skullcandy in the OP. Still, nobody reads the OP or any of the thread on this site. I have to direct them to it.
