Well, it's up to you. You can call other people for free if they are on akype as well.

Also, you can buy skype credit to make calls to peoples mobiles/phones from your PC.

And I'm sure they give you a free 10 minute call to a phone when you sign up. I got one.

There's really no need for it unless you actually go into video vhat and stuff.

My answer would be no. Waste of space.
