The ipsw file that you downloaded is corrupt. Download another one.

Try this:
Open up task manager while RS is running.
Go to Processes and look for "redsnow.exe."
Right click and click on "Set Affinity."
Uncheck CPU 1.
It shouldn't freeze anymore.

download the ipsw and manually install it. Add me on aim
