That'd be cool to have 1M MSP. Buy everything you want, do a license transfer, get banned and enjoy everything on a new account.

Capitalism2 wrote Dont they have to get activated at a cash register
I was told that only applies to the paper thin codes that are on show, the ones contained in a case with a polythene wrapper are already activated, sounds plausible to me.

the only way a microsfot point code will be active is if the card is scanned at the store. That is when it becomes active m8

Okay guys listen, it really does sound fake but, you know how when you get like a 48hr in your game case?
And there is no scratch off, its just peel and go?
I think this is how they got 1mill msp, because they can start generating codes that are peel aways and ones that have already been bought (Highly Unlikely)

I will explain this.
Okay, about a year ago, microsoft where doing this competition type thing, where you could win MS points, Avatar clothing etc etc.
now, a number of users on various website found a way to get a new code everytime using the URL without actually doing anything other than refreshing, 2 users from this site created a program that just spewed out codes left right and centre, using this method, it was patched within' a few hours tho but MS lost a hella lot of cash.

ConnorHamilton wrote MS Point cards have 3 stages.
First Stage: Inactive (In shop waiting to be bought)
Second Stage: Active (scanned by shop which activates it)
Final Stage: Deactivated (Has been activated and points used)
Unless they were generating them and putting them on cards then scanning them in a shop then they did not get any.
A few months ago a MS point generator was put on the internet and almost 5million worth of 4000ms points were used (and activated) before Microsoft patched it.
