The Audio Technica Pro 700 Mk. II is perfect for you. They're incredibly bassy, but bass is not the only thing it does well. It's built like a tank and is extremely portable with a folding design and removable cable. The stock pads are OK, but upgrading them to the pads from the Audio Technica ATH-M50 really makes the Pro 700 a lot better. On Amazon, under "Customers Who Bought This Item Also Bought:" it shows the M50 pads. I've tried these with both the stock and M50 pads, and the comfort difference is huge. Also keep in mind these will clamp pretty tight the first few days/weeks, but they soon loosen up. Otherwise, they're very comfortable. I think they're really good-looking, too.

They're definitely worth the extra cash. Other good options are the Brainwavz M2 and Dunu DN-12 Trident.
