Keep in mind that people have ditched the XB700 for the XB500 in favor of more bass!

Ok so your final opinion xb500 or xb700. Like I would prefer more bass but if I absolutely cannot even like here the lyrics in the xb500 then I don't want them

The bass won't intrude too much on the other parts of the music with either of these. Don't worry about that!

Basically the XB700 has deeper bass with a bit less impact and the XB500 is more midbass (thump). For dubstep, if you listen to "actual" dubstep, the XB700 would be better for bass drops. However, the supply of XB700's has been really iffy since the floodings in Thailand. The XB500 has some mids, but they're incredibly colored and sound really funky. You'll hear the lyrics though if that's the only thing that's important.

Oh, and I'm pretty sure the supply of XB700's is going to be low for a while.

You probably won't get the rumble you expect from any type of headphones though. That's for speakers. Headphones can't produce the air they need to really rumble.
