all guns are the same amount of xp. But if you want to get there fast use the gun you do the best with. The easiest guns i would say are the ACR 6.8, MP7 and PP90M1 bbn)

run around hc kill confirmed with a sub machine gun usually get like 30 kills a match do all the challenges for the gun thats the quickest way i get it

I've gotten most of the guns gold and I can easily say:

Snipers take the least amount of time to get Gold.
Sub Machine Guns take the second least amount.
Shotguns don't take that long to get Gold.
Assault Rifles take a while to get Gold.
Light Machine Guns take forever to get Gold.

The fastest gold gun I got was the Dragunov. It's amazing.
